Those of us at Summerhill Paintball Inc. would like to thank our customers for
your past business. It was fun! We decided to sell the assets of the business
and the person who purchased the assets is Chad marsh. He has moved the field to
a different location. He can be contacted at (315) 383-4102. As much as we enjoyed paintball, there's something way more exciting that we want you to know about. Did you know that you can go to heaven when you die? Here's the way to get there! In the Bible, which is God's written word, God tells us that we are sinners. A sinner is someone who does bad things. Did you know that doing bad things is against God's law? Things like lying, cheating, disobeying authority, following after gods other that the God who created the whole entire universe, profaning God's name, sexual immorality, being jealous of others peoples things, ect. We are born in sin. You don't even have to teach a baby to sin! (Romans 5:12, 17 and Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.") God says that the wages for our sin is death. (Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.") That is physical death and spiritual death. Our bodies will die. After our bodies die, we go to hell. That's the spiritual death. That's what we all deserve for the bad things that we have all done. The good news is that God doesn't want us to go to hell. That's why He did something to help us! He allowed His very own Son, Jesus Christ, Who never did anything wrong to substitute for us. Jesus took the punishment that we deserved. He came to this earth and was born as a baby. He grew up and was crucified on a wooden cross. He died on that cross. John 3:16-17 says, "for God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." So how do we go to heaven? First of all, we have to admit that we are guilty and need to be forgiven. 1 John 1:8-10 says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." It is also important to realized that there is a cost to being a follower of Jesus. (See Luke 14:25-33.) God expects us to put Him first in our lives. We also need to repent of our sins and trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross. If you are willing to repent of your sins, believe that Jesus died on the cross and came back to life again 3 days later, and put your trust in Jesus, you can be forgiven for all of your sins! Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you have trusted in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it is very important to regularly attend a Bible believing church, read the Bible, and pray (talk) to God so that you can grow and mature in your faith. If you wish to discuss these things further, we can be reached at (607) 898-4256. Being at peace with God is the most important thing in the world. There's nothing more exciting or rewarding! We wanted to share the best thing that's ever happened to us with you, so you can experience it, too! |
